Join us for the opening of “Jakob Christmas: Zig Zag Zog”. This is the inaugural exhibition at Calder Works Projects.

FROM THE ARTIST:

“I want to understand EVERYTHING, and these paintings are my way of doing so. They’re fueled by a restless pursuit of innovation, variety and experimentation, and by an innate desire to construct meaning from this absurd world we occupy—through the making of little pictures.”

Calder Works Projects is a contemporary art space in Beaumont, Texas, presenting exhibitions and artist-led projects that connect Southeast Texas with broader conversations in contemporary art.

Opening reception 2-6 pm. Free and open to the public.

Exhibition run: November 7 - December 13, 2026.
